PROJECT RESEARCH & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Under the Project Research & Business Development service grouping, over 100 business entities and individuals, from 1995 up to date, have been assisted by Dilis Investments Limited. The program adopts wholly or in part turnkey service arrangement, which involves Advisory Services, conduct of Feasibility and Export Studies/ preparation of Business Plans, Financial Intermediation, Factory-site planning, Machinery Selection/ Procurement/ & Installation (when technical industrial processes are involved), Recruitment & Training of clients’ workers.
In addition, Dilis Investment Limited conducts customized Sectoral/ Industry and Market Studies for corporate clients, and provides strategic information and guide to foreigners seeking to invest in Nigeria, as well as practical support to prospective Nigerian exporters.

VOCATIONAL / SKILLS ACQUISITION (JOB CREATION)
Under the Vocational/ Skills Acquisition program, more than 2, 000 youths have been trained since 2003 at Dilis Vocational Centre, a subsidiary of Dilis Investments Limited. Many of these apprentices are now proud owners of their own businesses. Graduates of our programmes have also been assisted to obtain starter packs and loans from the banks and related sources. On-going apprenticeship trainings are in the general areas of: Catering and Baking (Bread/ Cake/ Snacks making, etc.), Fashion/ Textile Designing (Tie & Die) & Knitting, Bead and Hat-making, Soap, Cosmetics and Cosmetology; and in such technical course areas as customized Factory operations, Fabrication/ Metal Work, Auto Mechanic, Block-moulding, Air-condition/ Refrigeration, Carpentry/ Wood work, and Computer Appreciation.
Dilis Investments Limited usually collaborates with established governmental/ non-governmental organizations and academic institutions in the development of micro, small and medium enterprises and related employment/ skills-acquisition/ capacity building projects and programs. Such agencies with which she has successfully collaborated include: the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), the Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA), the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), AFRICARE (an NGO), and prominent international development/ donor organizations. The company also signed a memorandum of understanding with Gregory University, Uturu, Abia State (as strategic partners), to support the conduct of Specialized Research/ Feasibility & Marketing Studies, preparation of Business Plans, and implementation of associated Projects for the University.
